Feeling broody as having a baby
“Broodiness is the action or behavioural tendency to sit on a clutch of eggs to incubate them” (Wikipedia). Being broody has been defined as “Being in a state of readiness to brood eggs that is characterised by cessation of laying and by marked changes in behaviour and physiology”.
When a woman feels broody means that she is starting to see babies in a much positive way. She might start mentioning things such as her “biological clock”.
